warm & comfy...

Sitting in front of a fireplace on a cold winter day is so

warm and comfy. A fireplace also makes a great

center piece in a room. Until now I have

never had one in my home, and even though mine is

for candles only, we enjoy it a lot and use it almost

every day of the year.

Imagine having one these beautiful fireplaces in

your home!

This is our "fireplace" and we made it ourselves,

but it's for candles only. It's not as complicated when

they are only to be used for candles, plus you can place them

where ever you like! I already have two in my home

and I'm thinking about adding the third one!!

grey, grey, grey...

What can I say, grey is my favorite color

and has been for a long time.

It comes in so many shades, light or dark,

and oh how I love it when it is distressed and old.

But don't get me wrong, I do like other colors too,

like white, pink and brown... ;)

but grey is what I LOVE !

just add some lace to it...

They seem to be everywhere, big or small, white or colored,

and they do bring a romantic touch to plain and ordinary things.

Just add some to your old dress and you are good to go!

mixing old things...

I like mixing old things with new in my home, but

I also like new things that look like they are old...

Sometimes it's enough to bring just one old piece to

a place, and everything else fits perfectly well together.

Decorating by using old and new

frames together can look so good.

This "all white look" can be just the right

thing to go for when decorating a room.

Old wall papers are so decorative and beautiful.

Having one or two old chairs like this one, with

the old fabric still on it, would really be great!!

some like it hot...

It's so nice to take a long hot bath when it's getting

colder outside. Light a candle, listen to Norah Jones

and enjoy the moment, thats what I like !

And aren't those bathtubs just beautiful...
